Bedford Community Care Center
The Bedford Community Care Center (BCCC) is an 803c non-profit food pantry located at 1018 'J' Street, Bedford, Indiana. BCCC distributes food and clothing to approximately 600 people each month. Central Church of Christ, along with Southland Church of Christ, is honored to be a sponsor of this loving and hard working organization. BCCC is staffed by volunteers from both sponsoring churches and the Bedford community.
The building utilized by BCCC is provided by Mullis Petroleum, Inc. of Bedford, IN. Approximately 60% of food distributed by the pantry comes from Hoosier Hills Food Bank located in Bloomington, IN and the other 40% is purchased locally using donations from the two sponsoring churches. Clothing is donated from the caring citizens of Lawrence County, Indiana.
Operating hours for the pantry are as follows: Tuesday 10 AM to Noon and Thursday 10 AM to Noon.
